Far Short of Goal for AIDS Funding
From The Missouri Conference Review: “It was decided at the 2004 General Conference of the United Methodist Church that local churches would contribute $1 per member to the Global AIDS Fund. This would raise $8 million. The goal was to have the money collected by 2008. So far $2.1 million has been contributed. As of Dec 11, churches in the Missouri Conference had contributed $433.50 to the Global AIDS Fund in 2009. Missouri’s total contribution since 2004 is $20, 969.30.” Use the Conference Special Giving form to make a donation under project #7395.
