From Net News: Missouri UMC Offers Scholarships
The Board of Directors of The Foundation of Missouri UMC in Columbia awards scholarships to persons who need financial help while preparing for careers in church-related vocations. The recipient may attend any school recognized by the United Methodist Church and by the board of directors for educating religious workers. An applicant should have completed at least two years of college work. Interested applicants should request a scholarship application by e-mailing scholarships@moumc.org or by mailing the Foundation of MUMC Scholarship Committee, 204 S. Ninth St., Columbia, MO  65201-4818. The deadline for all materials is June 15.

Reminder: 2014 Mileage/Postage/Minimum Wage Changes:
IRS approved mileage rate:
56¢ per mile for business miles traveled
23.5¢ per mile for miles driven for medical/moving purposes
14¢ per mile for miles driven for charitable purposes 
Postage Increase Effective January 26:
First class = 49¢ (each extra ounce 21¢)
Postcards = 34¢
Missouri Minimum Wage Effective January 1:
$7.50 per hour for non-tipped employees
$3.75 per hour for tipped employees

Communication Tool - One Call Now
Rev. Michael Dunlap recently shared that he uses this mass notification system to send recorded voice mail messages to his Norborne UMC congregation about events, prayer requests, etc.  The pricing is based on the number of phone numbers that you use to spread your message.
